The main objective of the porject is to enhance the container handling capacity of chittagong port through construction of a container terminal at Laldia Area. The Project will also strengthen the port logistic capacity of Bangladesh. This is a green field project. It is
envisaged that CPA will retain the responsibility for, marine operations including the provision of required facilities and services for the same.
